Kids’ programme & child care
During a summer holiday at the family hotel Salzburger Hof children can enjoy a varied and fun kids’ programme including child care. Whilst you are having exciting adventures with our qualified supervisors with our free kids’ programme, your parents can enjoy some time together.
Happy & colourful – child care at our family hotel in Dienten
5 half-days per week, we provide an extensive and professional child care, with our fully qualified supervisors. There we explore forests and meadows, we play cowboy and get to know new friends. We play inside too, if the weather is bad outside. Particularly fun is the slow train journey with our blue tractor.
In addition, the local tourism association offers a weekly kids’ programme, including fishing, geocaching, pirate festival and more. As a partner company for families, our little guests certainly participate free of charges. So, don’t hesitate any longer and book one of the most child-friendly accommodations in the area of the Hochkönig.

Monday
Toni’s alpine playground
Meeting point: 9.45 am at the Hotel Salzburger Hof
With the bus we go to Mühlbach and there with the cabine to the Karbachalm. Diversified activities at Toni’s alpine playground at the Karbachalm. There you will find different stops, e.g. water fun park and sandpit, skill parcour, rope slides and more.
Return: approx. 3.00 pm
Tuesday
Children’s climbing
Meeting point: 9.45 am at the Hotel Salzburger Hof
We start with the bus to the Alpine Park Dienten. There our guide will wait for us to introduce you in the art of climbing. After this we will make a campfire to grill some sausages. Following we go back to the hotel with our little blue tractor.
Return: approx. 2.00 pm
Wednesday
Spending one day on a hill farm/farm
Meeting point: 2.00 pm at the Hotel Salzburger Hof
From here the bus brings us to the adventure farm Dientalm. OPEN HOUSE DAY. We are allowed to watch the farmers work in the stable. And you make your own butter, which you can taste with a glas of freshly milked milk.
Return: approx. 6.00 pm
Thursday
Children’s riding (max. 16 children)
Meeting point: 9.45 am at the Hotel Salzburger Hof
Together we drive with the hiking bus to the alpine park and hike from there approx. 15 min. to the Rohrmoosgut. Paula and her horses Pila and Anderl are already waiting for us there. We can ride horses, play games and have a lot of fun. Afterwards there is a little refreshment and then it goes back with the bus.

Friday
Visit of the “Natrun” in Maria Alm
Meeting point: 9.45 am at the Hotel Salzburger Hof
With the bus we go to Maria Alm and there with the Dorfj@t on the mountain. Here we have the possibility to test the playground at the Grammlerhütte and the forest slide park. Following we go back to the bus.

Rainbow programme
Even if the weather is bad, it won’t affect our kids’ programme. Then we offer our so-called rainbow programme, therefore the same starting and ending times apply.
Dear parents,
we will spend lots of time outside in nature, so please keep in mind to take the following things with you:
- Sunscreen (sun lotion, sun glasses, hat)
- Second T-Shirt
- Pullover
- Rain jacket
- Bottle of drinking water
Please inform us about any allergies or diseases and take appropriate precautions (anti allergic, medications,…). In case of emergency, please inform the supervisors about your phone number or leave the number at the tourist office.
